Approximately Ninety Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airfields
Analysis has found that approximately 90 aircraft journeys associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left British airfields, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who claim they were abused by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Pattern of Travel
The flight logs were part of thousands of legal papers and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the previous twelve months. The review uncovered 87 flights tied to Epstein – featuring many that were hitherto undisclosed – landing or taking off from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Flights
Unnamed women were recorded among the individuals entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK occurred subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a underage person.
“It was ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his dealings in the country,” stated US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein survivors.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
A statement from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that victim has never been contacted by UK authorities, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a response, the the Met indicated they had “not been provided with any new evidence that would support reopening the probe.” They commented, “Should fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, encompassing any arising from the disclosure of material in the US, we will review it.”
Continuing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
A bill to disclose every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of files are anticipated to be released.
In a related development, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
