Battlefield 6 BR Mode Goes Live This Week as a Free-to-Play Experience
After a long period of rumors, the BR mode for Battlefield 6 is finally arriving. The latest rumors claiming its debut would happen alongside the new season were accurate. Fans can dive into the mode starting very soon.
The New Season Introducing a Fresh Location, Mode, and Arsenal
Together with the BR mode, Season 1 is also starting. This introduces a fresh location, a new mode, and an expanded arsenal. On top of that, the Redacted Sector is arriving. A featured preview will become available at go-live, providing gamers a glimpse of what's to come.
Complimentary Structure Allows the Mode Accessible to Everyone
Perhaps the key detail is that the battle royale mode will be F2P. Much like popular offerings, you do not need to own the original Battlefield 6 to join in. Some participants have previously tested early versions of the mode. Those trials were conducted in Battlefield Labs, which the team described as their most ambitious fan involvement effort.
The adrenaline rush while fighting opposing teams can't be found in any other battle royale. It's like do or die, and you actually care if you die or survive.
Even though I considered myself a snob previously, I'm fully a fan of the battle royale since trying it.
Such early impressions from participants have been extremely encouraging. Of course, the experience may have evolved over the past month or two in terms of tuning and pace. Still, early signs are strong that this new mode could become a true rival to leading offerings. Many are hoping that the best guns from the main game will be available in the battle royale.
